I went to see Watchmen yesterday, and yes, it was amazing. I totally flailed at Desolation Row, found Rorschach hotter than I'm comfortable with, though Ozzy was the prettiest queen this side of DC comics, oogled Manhattan's penis cause it was RIGHT THERE. Though NiteOwl was adorable, didn't like Silk Spectre 2, but that's not the movies fault. Also, I TOTALLY MISSED THE POINT OF THE MOVIE, because the most fascinating element of the ENTIRE thing to me?

The psychology of the Comedian and Silk Spectre 1's relationship. 'Cause falling in love and staying in love with the guy who tried to rape you? That is fascinating to me. So, yes, someone should examine that for me. In fic form.

YES. YES YES YES. I loved that part too!

I mean, okay, so I was fascinated with Ozzy and his entire thing and how vulnerable and brittle he was and okay, so he was maybe my second fave after Eddie, but the relationship between Eddie and Sally totally tickles me. I want to read ENDLESS fics about how he did get back from wherever in 1949 and met up with Sally Jupiter and how she fell in love with him anyway, despite him kicking the crap out of her, and about how Laurie is all, "wow, you are cool, why does Mom hate you?" and he's all, "woe, I can't tell her she's mah bb, ;_______;" and uuuuugh, I should not love the Comedian as much as I do, dammit. >:|

I pretty much loathed the Comedian, but I LOVE the way his character is handled, and the fact that he's not just a psychopath with a more logical motive, that he apparently had a heart, I was more fascinated with Sally (who I loved, and wanted more of) and just the idea of "...he tried to rape you. he beat you and was in the process of getting undressed so he COULD rape you. Yet you love/still love him. How?"

Nonono the question is if it'll be the good kind of creepy where it makes you shudder and keep reading or if y'know its the kind of creepy where MIKEYWAYISAVAMPIRERAPISTRAR (yes...that is my definition of bad creepyfic.)
