Something amusing: Before this fandom I did not read het. It just didn't happen. Same with femslash. Thanks to the magic of genderswap and the beauty that is Katie Kay, Greta, Vicky-T and (my personal favorite) Amanda Palmer these things have obviously changed. I thought. I was wrong. I DO NOT SHIP TIDUSXYUNA!!!! (GOOD) FFX YAOI I KNOW YOU"RE OUT THERE! SHOW YOURSELF! TIDUS/AURON? TIDUS/WAKKA? YOU"RE OUT THERE. I also want Amanda Palmer/Lulu, but I've accepted that I'm probably just gonna have to write that myself. puckinnichild if thats your real name, give me recs please? That goes for all you others that read FFX. I KNOW YOU"RE OUT THERE.

Anyways, oh nonono. I'm not even going to touch the vats of awful that the mass majority of FFX fic gets to. I've never found one fic, even a het fic, that I liked. If you're brave enough to plumb the depths of bad high school AUs and horrible characterizations, then godspeed, dear lady.

All the more reason why I should go through with that username change. And yes, Tidus is a bit of a twink, isn't he? For some reason, my brain won't let me properly slash him, as much as I want to, but the lack of good slash is so not helping. If you find anything good, do let me know.

I have attempted to find good FFX fanfiction in the past because I loved - adored - obsessed over the game. Twas wonderful. But the fandom is, simply put, a huge dissappointment.
