Taking Back Sunday 9-18-09

stardustonsableSo, I went to see Taking Back Sunday tonight.
The guitarist that is not The Fat Guy or Fazzi (who's foot was broken, poor bb! He seemed fine though, the power of Music and Good Medicine I suppose) is fucking hot like blazing. Imagine. Ryland. Now shrink him to Pete's size. And put him in Frank Iero circa Projeket Gaymolution clothing/hair. add muscele-y. Nom.
The crowd was...ok TBS was awesome, I basically missed Carolina Liar, but the crowd was really pitiful, even once TBS came on. There were maybe 70 people on the floor and maybe 25 of them were really into it, bouncing, singing along etc. it was kind of sad. But, speaking of the crowd brings me to my main irks of the evening.
Assholes in the Crowd;
Bands don't just tour for gits and shiggles. They go on tour to promote a new album. Meaning? THEY ARE GOING TO PLAY SONGS FROM THE NEW ALBUM. TBS played...maybe 4? Which is very few in my opinion, but still. You don't need to yell "this is bullshit" or "play old songs" during them (PARTICULARLY THE REALLY SLOW QUIET ONE ABOUT HIS ALMOST WIFE OH MY GOD ASSHOLES)
Assholes;
SET LIST MOTHERFUCKER, DO YOU SPEAK IT. Call out all the songs you want THEY HAVE A SET LIST. That they are not going to change for you (unless its AFP who took requests from twitter :D :D ♥) Shut the fuck up, turn down your entitlement and enjoy the show, god.
Weirdass Chicks in Crowd
I'm giving you funny looks because you're wearing four inch heels and tube dresses to a rock concert. Wtf.
It was probably the least good concert I've went to but I've had a really good track record and by no means was it really bad. I had fun and was glad I got to go. Now one week and then AAR and FALL OUT BOY (oh and uhm, Blink 182)
