Am I really the only one that's a little offended by the black girl on Glee? Yes? *sigh* Okay then.
Taking Back Sunday, Friday, I'm really really excited.

I am not fond of my insecurities. If he is only humouring me then he shall humour me all the longer. And if he is not well, then, that's another post all together.

Good lord the ACT made my head hurt.

Glee in general or the black character?

Glee because they're all SWEEPING GENERALIZATIONS. The gay boy's a big queen. The geeks are either disabled or painfully socially awkward. There are token races all over the place it just...there are lots of Unfortunate Implications.

Mercedes (the black character) in particular? Pretty much for the same reason, she's the amalgamation of every stereotype you can throw on a black character (bad attitude, loud, Amazing Gospel Voice (tm), bright (read:tacky) clothing, "ghetto" in what appears to be a pretty much suburban area etc.)
